My parents lived in a treehouse when I was born, and we moved into a tiny home before tiny homes were cool. We weren’t just a little poor; we were the kind of poor where we hitchhiked on I-10 so I could go to school. Despite the North Florida heat and humidity, we didn’t have AC. When our water was shut off, we carried buckets from the creek. A “good week” meant we had mayo for the canned tuna. Custody battles and alcoholism were constants in my life for years. I struggled in school, solid c/d student who fell between the cracks.

So why does this matter to you? Because I know what it’s like to feel unqualified to homeschool. But here’s what I believe now: if you feel called to homeschool, God has already qualified you. If He’s entrusted you with your children, He’s also equipped you to guide them. So step forward with confidence, knowing He has already prepared the way.

and You might be surprised to know that...

I’m obsessed with backpacking because it is a beautiful reminder of how we don't need a lot of material things to be happy and thrive. The challenge of pushing my body on the trails reminds me that I can handle tough situations. And being surrounded by nature? It’s like a reset button, helping me refocus on what truly matters!

I was 17 years old when I found out I was going to be a mom. Five years later, I met my husband, Eddie, at my best friend's birthday party. I almost fell in a bonfire, he caught me, and the rest is history. Today we have have three wildly different and amazing young men. Even though you may never meet my family, trust that they know who you are & we are all grateful for your support!

If you spend more than 5 minutes with me there is a pretty good chance I'll reference a podcast. I spend so much time in the car and there is nothing better than getting lost in a great conversation or learning something new while going about my day. Whether it’s business tips, faith, true crime, or just a good story, podcasts keep me inspired and always learning. Plus, it's a great way to randomly connect with new people and new ideas.

Ever tried a cold plunge followed by a sauna? Let me tell you, it's life-changing! First, I set the sauna for as hot as it will go and relax for 10 minutes or so. Then, I submerge myself in shockingly cold water, and bam! Instant reset! It's like a reset button for my mind and body – I’m happier, it improves circulation (along with lots of other health benefits), and proves I can do hard things. Trust me, once you try it, you'll be hooked!
